Two high performance choices. DUOFORGE®... the forged flange and stub-end combination DUOCAST® ... the ductile iron flange and forged stub-end combination.
The DUOFORGE flange and slip-on stub-ends are manufactured in sizes 1" - 24" from ASTM A105 forged steel... the standard of the industry. The DUOCAST flange is made of tough, corrosion resistant ductile iron conforming to ASTM A 395. Both systems are rated at Class 150 for operating pressures up to 275 psi. IPP has supplied special flange systems up to 34" Class 400. |
DUOFLANGE eliminates the labor cost of two-hole alignment of the flanges. This can save up to 30% of the labor associated with installing the flanges. Because the IPP DUOFLANGE is free to rotate on the welded stub end, it is easy to fit-up to mating welded flanges. No need for permanent leveling, squaring and mating the bolt holes. Simply turn the DUOFLANGE until the bolt holes are aligned and install the bolts, nuts and washers. One man can do the job efficiently.
